About AAA Restaurant Equipment & Supply Co
AAA Food Equipment, based in Austin, Texas, was founded in 1984 by Jim and James Spradling, a father-and-son team who relocated to the city to serve the local restaurant community. The family-owned and operated business began as a modest supplier of commercial kitchen equipment and grew alongside the rapid expansion of Central and South Texas. The company supplies both new and refurbished restaurant equipment — including commercial refrigerators, freezers, food prep machines, and bakery mixers — and provides complete kitchen equipment and furniture packages along with installation services. In 2010, AAA outgrew its original Turbine Drive location and moved to a larger showroom and warehouse on Yager Lane off I‑35, between Parmer and Braker Lanes, to accommodate a broader inventory and display area. AAA serves a diverse range of food‑service operations, from independent restaurants and bakeries to food trucks, caterers, grocery stores, and hospitality venues. Completed projects include outfitting kitchens for Moonie’s Burger House in Marble Falls, Blacks BBQ in New Braunfels, the Courtyard Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio, and Isla Grande Resort on South Padre Island, among others across Central Texas. The business emphasizes hands‑on, personalized service backed by decades of industry knowledge, combining competitive pricing with reliable delivery and expert advice.
