About Atlantic Aluminum Products, Inc.
Atlantic Aluminum Products, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Dan Schlabach in Greenwood, Delaware. The company began as a garage-based startup after Schlabach, already a successful business owner in Florida, saw an opportunity to bring his vision for better railing and screen systems to the Eastern Shore. Harold Sylvester serves as co-owner and vice president. The company manufactures aluminum railing, screen systems, prefabricated balconies, architectural railings, vertical 4-track systems, and fencing. Operating from a 100,000-square-foot facility consolidated in 2018, Atlantic Aluminum Products handles custom fabrication, CAD design, and extrusion using 6005-T5 and 6063-T5 alloys. All finishes meet AAMA standards, and the company emphasizes green manufacturing technologies that align with LEED specifications. Atlantic Aluminum Products serves the construction, architectural, residential, and commercial building markets along the East Coast. Its projects range from single-family homes to community developments, including work for Habitat for Humanity in Seaford, Delaware, and the Operation Finally Home program in Milton, Delaware. The company also supplied materials for an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episode in Wilmington in 2008. Schlabach started the business to address a need for higher-quality railing and screen products while creating a better workplace. The company cites its integrity, innovation, and commitment to quality as differentiators, offering a limited lifetime warranty on its maintenance-free finishes and positioning itself as a single source for orders of any size.
