About Blazer Electric Supply Company Colorado Springs
Blazer Electric Supply operates from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The current incarnation of the company was established in 2009 by Mike and Steve Blazer, who had originally founded the business in 1984 alongside their brother Fred. That first venture grew into the largest electrical distributor in Southern Colorado before being sold in 1999. A decade later, the Blazer brothers re-entered the market with 30 former employees and rebuilt the operation. Today the company functions as a wholesale electrical distributor, stocking roughly $5 million of inventory across an 83,000-square-foot warehouse served by more than 90 associates. Beyond standard product distribution — spanning categories such as conduit, wire, lighting, control automation, and renewable-energy components — Blazer provides job-site services including storage containers, inventory management, and project staging. A dedicated ProFab department offers laser engraving, while a rental fleet and after-hours delivery (Night Strike) and 24/7 express pickup (Beep & Beep) round out the service portfolio. Its product lines cover data and telecom, power distribution, fire alarm, and safety equipment, reflecting the needs of commercial and industrial projects. Blazer emphasizes its independence as a locally owned operation, arguing that this structure enables faster decision-making and tailored service. The company points to a string of industry awards — including multiple IMARK Distributor of the Year honors and a second-place ranking in a national customer-satisfaction survey of over 50 distributors — as evidence of its service focus.
