About BMZ USA Inc
BMZ USA Inc operates from Virginia Beach, Virginia, as the American division of BMZ Group, a German battery innovator founded in 1994 in Karlstein. The U.S. entity provides end-to-end engineering and manufacturing of custom battery and energy storage systems, drawing on the parent company’s three decades of lithium-ion expertise. The division leverages the group’s full value chain—from cell selection and electronics design through prototyping, testing, and series production. BMZ’s battery systems serve OEMs across e-mobility, industrial machinery, drive systems, medical devices, charging infrastructure, and power and garden tools. Concrete applications include high-voltage packs for electric excavators and wheel loaders, e-bike batteries such as the V10 and RB900, forklift power systems, and the portable POWER2GO PRO unit for construction and outdoor use. The company emphasizes a one-stop-shop model that covers the entire battery lifecycle, backed by a global service network of nine international service points, a 24-hour ticket hotline, and long-term original-parts availability.
