About Brook Field Service
Brook Field Service operates from Northfield, Vermont, and has served Northern New York and New England for nearly 40 years as a generator sales and service provider. The company provides generator installation, maintenance, and repair for all brands, along with standby power system design, transfer switch and battery backup installation, complete system engineering, load bank testing, and preventative maintenance agreements. It also offers generator rentals, financing, onsite evaluations, electrical service upgrades, and FLO EV charger installation. Technicians are factory-trained and TQP-certified for generator and transfer switch repairs, and the firm maintains Northern New England's largest generator fleet to support 24/7 emergency service. All installations receive engineering supervisory coverage and job-site load testing before handover. Customers range from residential homeowners to commercial and institutional clients, including hospitals, nursing homes, banks, construction equipment firms, Vermont state agencies requiring emergency generator inspections, and small businesses. Service territory covers Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, and Massachusetts. Brook Field Service distinguishes itself as the only Vermont company that troubleshoots and repairs generators, engines, and transfer switches with every employee cross-trained in all three disciplines, so a single service call covers the full system. Its operating philosophy emphasizes integrity, superior service over automation (no robot voices or answering machines), honest communication, and treating employees as revenue sources rather than expenses.
