About Clemens Food Group
Clemens Food Group was founded more than 130 years ago in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, and remains a sixth-generation, family-owned business. The company traces its roots to a small independent operation that has grown into a vertically coordinated pork supplier while maintaining its original commitment to ethics, integrity, and stewardship. Today the company operates across the full pork supply chain: feed milling, a network of over 250 company-owned and independent family farms in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and three pork processing facilities in Hatfield and Tyrone, Pennsylvania, and Coldwater, Michigan. Its logistics and transportation division moves live hogs from farms and finished products to customers. The portfolio includes the Hatfield®, Farm Promise®, Prima Porta®, and Kunzler® brands, the latter added in May 2024. Clemens serves customers of all sizes, from independent foodservice operators to large retail and food manufacturing accounts, providing branded and custom pork programs. Its Country View Family Farms division ensures a consistent supply of hogs raised under aligned animal-welfare and biosecurity standards. The company emphasizes that vertical coordination gives it control over quality and sustainability from farm to fork. Its Farm Promise® line offers No Antibiotics Ever pork, and the organization highlights transparent, compassionate animal care as a core differentiator.
