About Colorado Food Showroom
Colorado Food Showroom operates from Denver, Colorado, where it was founded in 1997 by Jake Hunter, who serves as owner and operator. The company began with a focus on promoting and marketing specialty food products sourced from Colorado and the surrounding region. The business functions as a full-line wholesaler, curating and warehousing a broad assortment of Colorado Proud foods and beverages across categories including snacks, sweets, beverages, pantry staples, health and beauty items, and automotive products. It carries brands such as Kettle Head Popcorn, Chocolove, Sweetwood Smokehouse, Hammond's Candies, and Eldorado Water, among dozens of others. In spring 2020, the company partnered with Hyperion Wholesale to extend direct distribution to hundreds of brick-and-mortar locations along the Front Range. Its primary customers are retailers and business owners seeking to stock specialty foods or enhance employee retention programs. The company serves grocery stores, convenience shops, and corporate buyers looking for local and national specialty products, offering a B2B e-commerce platform with wholesale pricing. Colorado Food Showroom differentiates itself by consolidating sourcing and warehousing so clients avoid tracking down products individually, and it backs orders with a buy-back guarantee against defects. The team, including inventory lead Sandy Frank and product scout Frankie Serrano, emphasizes "better for you" snacks with fewer preservatives and a commitment to Colorado-made brands.
