Costa Fab was founded in 2014 by Jackson Costa in a modest shop in Hayden, Idaho. In 2016 the company purchased its first dedicated facility in Rathdrum, Idaho, and today operates a second location in Coeur d'Alene. The shop provides structural steel detailing, fabrication, and erection alongside architectural metalwork and industrial manufacturing. In-house processing includes CNC fiber laser cutting (60"x120" sheet up to 1" thick), tube laser cutting with bundle loader (up to 6"x6" square), multiple press brakes to 14 feet and 3/4" thick, rolling and bending to 2-inch schedule 40 pipe, CNC plasma cutting (60"x120" envelope up to 1-1/2" steel), and lathe and mill machining. AWS-certified welders work in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The company produces oversized and specialized assemblies, structural steel packages with complete shop drawings, and architectural items such as range hoods, railings, staircases, and stainless countertops.
