About Duerr Packaging Co Inc
Duerr Packaging Co. Inc. was founded in 1953 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, as a family-owned operation that has continued into a second generation. The company began with rigid paper boxes in a highly competitive market and later expanded into thermoforming plastics as that technology emerged. Today the company runs two modern plants in rural western Pennsylvania: one dedicated to paperboard converting and the other to plastic thermoforming, both equipped with continually updated machinery. Its capabilities span rigid set-up boxes, thermoformed plastics, vacuum and pressure forming, transparent lids and boxes, plastic clamshells, display and blister packing, heart boxes, and rigid paper boxes. The company works with clients seeking protection, convenience, or aesthetic improvements for their product lines. The firm's philosophy is to accept only work it considers within its proficiency and to service customers according to their specific requirements, a principle that has guided its growth since the early days of plastic thermoforming.
