About Elevation Solar
Elevation Solar is based in Gilbert, Arizona. The company was founded by Jerry Coleman and Brian Bair, who previously built the real estate businesses OfferPad and Invitation Homes. As their portfolios of single-family homes grew, energy costs became their largest expense after mortgages, prompting them to create Elevation to address high utility bills through on-site generation and efficiency. The firm delivers integrated energy infrastructure for property portfolios, combining solar photovoltaic installation, battery storage systems, and real-time energy monitoring via its Curb technology. Elevation manages design, installation coordination, and utility interconnection, and has deployed across more than 13,000 residential assets with over 1,900 customer reviews. Its customers are single-family rental owners and operators as well as small commercial property owners seeking to deploy energy solutions across multiple sites. The company structures projects in phases to standardize rollout while accommodating site-specific constraints, minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. Elevation’s origin was cost-driven: the founders wanted to reduce operating expenses and carbon emissions across their own holdings. In 2020 the company acquired Curb Energy to add proprietary monitoring hardware and software, enabling asset- and portfolio-level visibility into production, consumption, and system health.
