About FCPS Electric
FCPS Electric is based in Bryant, Arkansas, and was founded in 1977 by Lorin Fleming. The company remains independently owned and operated from its original location, having grown from a one‑man operation into a full team of factory‑trained, certified technicians serving the entire state and holding licenses in Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Iowa, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The firm provides full‑service electrical contracting for industrial and commercial facilities. Its scope covers electrical design‑build, medium‑ and high‑voltage switchgear installation and service, standby and prime‑power generator installation and maintenance, custom power‑distribution panel design and fabrication, power and control cable wiring, petroleum‑industry electrical work for convenience stores, scheduled equipment inspections, emergency troubleshooting, and 24/7 emergency response. Additional capabilities include aerial lift services using bucket trucks, network cabling and security integration (as an authorized integrator for Turing, Axis, and Brivo), automation and controls, and testing and consulting. FCPS serves a range of sectors including healthcare (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences), metal processing (Ryerson), water treatment (Conway County Regional Water), and petroleum retail. Its customer base spans industrial plants, commercial buildings, and critical‑infrastructure operators throughout Arkansas and neighboring states. The company emphasizes factory‑certified expertise, a live‑answer 24/7 phone policy, and long‑term client relationships — some spanning 20‑plus years. Independent ownership allows it to set its own service standards, and a safety‑first culture is cited as non‑negotiable. Being Arkansas‑based, not a national chain, is presented as a deliberate choice to keep accountability local.
