About Fisher Auto Parts
Fisher Auto Parts traces its roots to 1929 in Weston, West Virginia, where Blair Coiner founded the business during the Great Depression. Originally operating as Coiner Parts, the company began by supplying auto parts to car dealers, service stations, and independent garages. By 1983 the operation had expanded to 60 locations and 300 employees, prompting a rebrand to Fisher Auto Parts. Today the company runs a network of retail stores and Federated Car Care Centers, distributing name-brand automotive components and offering fast delivery to professional installers. Headcount at the Weston headquarters stands at 18. Fisher Auto Parts stocks a broad range of replacement parts, appearance chemicals, and detailing supplies sourced from major manufacturers. The founder’s original mandate — “rendering dealer service of the highest character at all times” — remains the stated differentiator, emphasizing dependable delivery, competitive pricing on quality brands, and a service-first approach for professional buyers.
