About Forsey's Fine Furniture and Interior Design
Forsey's Fine Furniture and Interior Design has operated from Salt Lake City, Utah, since 1951, when brothers Jack and Harry Forsey founded the business on a model specializing in American-made Colonial Maple home furnishings. The company remains in its third generation of family ownership, now led by Jack Forsey and his wife Michelle. The retailer carries over 40 brands of home furnishings, the vast majority manufactured in the United States, Canada, or Europe, and operates two showrooms on Highland Drive — one dedicated exclusively to Stickley Furniture, for which Forsey's has been the exclusive Utah dealer since the late 1990s, and a second multi-vendor showroom. Beyond retail sales, the company provides interior design services, free in-home consultations, commercial project furnishing, and drop-ship delivery across the continental United States, supported by a white-glove delivery team. Customers range from residential buyers seeking a single piece to designers and businesses outfitting large commercial spaces. The company's vendor relationships emphasize domestically and ethically sourced products, and its staff — composed of designers, artists, and other professionals — works without commission to focus on client needs. Forsey's differentiates itself through a pressure-free, family-owned culture that eliminated commission pay, a curated selection vetted by its design and delivery teams, and a commitment to quality without compromise that has sustained the business for over seven decades.
