About Got Old Wood Co.
Got Old Wood Co. operates from South Salt Lake City, Utah, where it reclaims lumber from dismantled barns, fences, and other aging structures. The company’s website highlights a Laketown, Utah barn project that began in August 2025 and was completed that October, illustrating the sourcing side of its business. No founding year, ownership structure, or founder names are disclosed on the site. The firm processes each board by hand—de-nailing, pressure washing, trimming, and wire brushing—before offering it as raw material or fabricating it into custom products. Its catalog includes floating mantels and shelves, sliding barn doors, feature walls, tables, and other furniture, plus a barn removal service for property owners and a distressing service that ages new beams. Facility size, headcount, and annual volume are not published. Customers range from interior designers and contractors to homeowners seeking a rustic aesthetic. The company cites feature walls, sliding barn doors, custom furniture, and props as typical applications, and notes that its inventory turns over as new structures are salvaged. Got Old Wood Co. emphasizes the individual character of every board, likening it to a fingerprint, and backs its sales with an exchange guarantee: if a customer’s selected boards don’t suit the project, they can be swapped for alternatives. The company also stresses its barn dismantling capability as a way to give old materials new life.
