About Hudson Valley Lighting Group
Hudson Valley Lighting Group (HVLG) operates from Wappingers Falls, New York. The company was founded by David Littman, who serves as CEO. Littman's early exposure to antiques through his mother's "treasure hunts" shaped a philosophy that beautiful objects transform everyday experience. HVLG designs and manufactures residential and commercial lighting across seven distinct brands: Hudson Valley Lighting, Troy Lighting, Corbett Lighting, Mitzi, CSL, Sonneman, and Schoolhouse. The portfolio spans decorative fixtures — chandeliers, sconces, pendants, lamps — and architectural systems including recessed downlights, cylinders, and modular platforms such as Sonneman's Suspenders® and Constellation® lines. The CSL brand emphasizes patented adjustability and advanced optical systems for performance-driven applications. The group serves interior designers, specifiers, architects, and builders through dedicated trade and contract-hospitality programs. Its products are specified in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across North America and, via CE-marked offerings, in European and UK markets. HVLG positions itself as a creative partner rather than a mere supplier, citing the industry's most comprehensive selection as its differentiator. The company's founding impulse was to make well-designed, well-made lighting and home goods accessible — whether through Corbett's luxurious statement pieces, Mitzi's attainable high design, or Schoolhouse's considered, lasting objects.
