Huntington Steel & Supply traces its roots to 1904 when James A. Diddle opened Huntington Boiler Works on 11th Street along the Ohio River in Huntington, West Virginia. A family-owned enterprise throughout, it expanded to Pikeville, Kentucky in 1978 and added a Westover, West Virginia branch in 1995 (closed in 2026). Its project portfolio spans commercial and industrial work, with recent jobs ranging from 280 tons for the Marshall University School of Pharmacy to 1,400 tons for the Marshall Engineering Building and 625 tons for the Austin Powder project.
