About LSM Heating, Plumbing, Electric, Inc.
LSM Heating, Plumbing, Electric, Inc. traces its roots to 1940 in Lynden, Washington, when John Wynstra and Pete Douma founded Lynden Sheet Metal to provide metal fabrication for local farms and communities in Whatcom County. The business remained under local family ownership after a 1977 leadership transition, and in 2010–2011 Cory and Bobbi Kreider acquired an ownership stake, continuing the legacy. The company moved to its current Lynden headquarters in 1998 and later expanded to locations in Bellingham and Marysville. Today the firm operates as a full-service mechanical contractor offering HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance; plumbing; electrical and generator services; commercial refrigeration; hearth and fireplace installation; and custom metal fabrication and welding. It fields a fleet of more than 60 service vehicles and employs over 60 skilled technicians who provide 24/7/365 emergency response across Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish counties. The company also offers parts-and-labor warranties, a price-match guarantee, and 18-month financing on approved credit. LSM serves both residential homeowners and commercial clients, including restaurants and food-service operations such as Holly’s Meat Pies, for which it engineered and installed a Type 1 commercial kitchen hood system. Its service area covers the greater Bellingham, Lynden, and Marysville region, supporting customers in heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and metal fabrication needs. The company emphasizes a neighbor-first mindset rooted in its 85-year community presence, citing integrity, excellence, innovation, respect, and community as core values. It differentiates itself through round-the-clock emergency availability, transparent pricing, and a commitment to treating customers like family rather than transactions.
