About Mastro Electric Supply Co Inc

Mastro Electric Supply Co. Inc. was founded in 1946 in Providence, Rhode Island. The company operates as an independent electrical supply and lighting retailer with its main showroom on Elmwood Avenue. The business stocks and sells lighting fixtures, systems, and electrical components for residential and commercial projects. It also provides lighting design services and product consulting through its showrooms. The company maintains four locations: a flagship in Providence, a branch in Pawcatuck, Connecticut, and two additional showrooms in Middletown and Wakefield, Rhode Island. It describes itself as the largest independent lighting retailer in the state. Customers include homeowners, electrical contractors, and commercial builders seeking lighting and electrical supplies. The retailer serves both walk-in retail traffic and trade accounts, offering design assistance and help locating hard-to-find items. Mastro Electric emphasizes a satisfaction guarantee, knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing as its distinguishing factors. The company states it will go out of its way to source products not in stock, positioning itself as a full-service lighting resource rather than a simple distributor.
