About Meddear Food Company
Meddear Food Company operates from State College, Pennsylvania, as a division of The Baza-miyat Company, Inc. The business was founded as a socially conscious food manufacturer focused on delivering fresh food products with what it describes as an "eagle's eye" for quality. While the exact founding year is not publicly stated, the company's mission took shape around a personal connection: the founder's mother is a breast cancer survivor, which inspired a pledge to donate a proportion of all sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for free mammograms. The company produces a line of fresh, preservative-free foods with no artificial flavors, most notably baklawa—a Middle Eastern pastry. Its flagship item, The Big Baklawa Box, contains 24 pieces and is sold through an online store launched in May 2026. Meddear serves primarily retail consumers through its e-commerce channel, though it has also placed products in a local office space on the first floor of a partner location. What sets Meddear apart is its built-in charitable model: a portion of every sale funds breast cancer screenings for those in need. The company also highlights storytelling through original artwork shared on Dribbble, framing its products as part of a broader creative and community-focused experience.
