About Motion Lite | Baton Rouge Technology Solutions

Motion Lite operates from a shop on O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The company was founded in 2020 by Gabriel Huggins, who had been working in the low‑voltage trade since 2015. Huggins holds a Louisiana contractor license (#77424), is a BICSI member, and has completed OSHA 30 construction safety training. The firm provides a full suite of low‑voltage and technology services: structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic), IP security camera systems with NVR/DVR recording up to 4K resolution, night vision, thermal imaging, and remote access; AV integration including TV matrix switching, distributed audio, digital signage, LED video walls, and conference‑room technology for Teams and Zoom; access‑control systems using key fobs, card readers, biometrics, and mobile credentials; IT deployment of monitor arms, docks, and peripherals; and custom PC builds for gaming, professional workstations, and business use, with options for bring‑your‑own‑parts assembly and bulk office orders. The team has completed more than 250 projects across Louisiana and neighboring states. Motion Lite serves commercial clients in offices, restaurants, schools, warehouses, and distribution centers, as well as bars, churches, and healthcare facilities requiring HIPAA‑compliant infrastructure. Recent work includes an 80‑camera Cisco Meraki deployment with outdoor Wi‑Fi at a distribution center in Walker, a 40‑drop network with six access points and a sound system for a Baton Rouge business, and an eight‑panel LED video wall for a restaurant in Lafayette. The company covers the Baton Rouge metro area — Denham Springs, Gonzales, Hammond — and travels to New Orleans, Lafayette, and Shreveport; for warehouse and distribution projects it works across Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. The company emphasizes a single‑contractor model that eliminates the need to coordinate separate cabling, security, AV, and access‑control vendors. It promotes honest pricing, long‑term support after installation, and the technical rigor that comes from BICSI membership and OSHA 30 training.
