About Mountain High Woodworks Inc.

Mountain High Woodworks was founded in 1980 in the Bridger Mountains near Bozeman, Montana. The company remains based in Bozeman, where it operates a full-service woodworking shop. The shop produces custom cabinetry, furniture, millwork, and doors, blending state-of-the-art CNC machining with traditional hand carving. In-house capabilities extend to custom metal blacksmithing, leaded hand-blown glass, ironwork, and leather detailing. Design engineers create CAD shop drawings for client approval, and the finish department develops custom finishes on sample pieces before full production. All manufacturing occurs at the Bozeman facility. The firm serves architects, builders, and interior designers across the Mountain West and beyond, with projects completed in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Ohio, Nevada, California, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, and Quebec. Clients range from owners of small custom cabins to large luxury residences, and the portfolio includes specialty spaces such as gun rooms, fly-fishing rooms, trophy rooms, saloon bars, wine cellars, smoking rooms, and home theaters. Mountain High Woodworks emphasizes a complete custom-shop experience, from concept through installation. The company highlights its combination of advanced CNC technology and hand craftsmanship, the ability to integrate diverse materials, and a team of seasoned installers who ensure the final fit matches the design intent.
