National Bushing & Parts Co

About National Bushing & Parts Co

National Bushing & Parts Co. traces its roots to 1920 when Ray Riley and Aime Pouliot founded the company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pair began by manufacturing bronze bushings and distributing replacement parts for early automobiles such as Pierce Arrow, Packard, and Ford, as well as truck, bus, and tractor components. Today the company operates as Automotive Parts Headquarters (APH), a wholesale distributor serving a network of more than 160 company stores and independent store customers across Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. A 160,000-square-foot distribution center in St. Cloud, opened in 2006, supports warehousing and logistics for the Auto Value brand. APH has been a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance since 1986, leveraging the coalition’s purchasing power and branding. The customer base includes professional installers and serious do-it-yourself buyers seeking automotive aftermarket parts, supplies, and service. Historically the catalog covered components for passenger cars, trucks, buses, and tractors; the current offering spans the full range of aftermarket repair parts sold through the Auto Value retail network. The company’s early reputation for machine-shop expertise and a diverse inventory helped it become one of the upper Midwest’s parts wholesalers.
