About Nucraft Furniture Co
Nucraft Furniture Co. is an office furniture manufacturer headquartered in Comstock Park, Michigan. The company was founded in 1945 by George W. Schad in Grand Rapids, where it began producing solid walnut accessories such as coat racks and letter trays for offices. Over the decades, the product line expanded to include occasional tables, bookcases, and desks, with early growth driven by U.S. government clients. Today Nucraft offers conference, media, and community tables, credenzas, lecterns, benches, and private office casegoods, combining traditional woodworking with integrated power and data options. The company also accepts custom orders and operates showrooms in Chicago and New York. Nucraft serves government agencies through GSA contracts and OMNIA agreements, as well as state and local government purchasers. The company emphasizes blending craftsmanship with technology, collaborating with industrial designers to create what it calls "beautiful connections" between interior trends, design expertise, and integrated technology.
