About Orangeburg Milling Co Inc
Orangeburg Milling Company, Inc. was founded in 1962 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, as a custom grind feed mill serving local hog and cattle farmers. The business remains independently owned and describes itself as the largest independently owned feed manufacturer in the state. The company produces a diversified line of livestock feeds packaged in 50‑pound bags under the OMC Feeds brand. It also operates a bulk delivery service using auger trucks that ship directly to farms and plantations. In 1978 the operation relocated to its current site adjacent to the original mill, expanding its product range for a broader variety of livestock. OMC Feeds reaches customers through a dealer network spanning South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, and via direct bulk deliveries to agricultural operations. Primary end users include hog, cattle, and other livestock producers, as well as plantations and farms throughout the three‑state region. Management emphasizes a reputation for customer service built over more than 60 years, with a stated goal of providing quality products at affordable prices while offering unmatched service. The company’s independent ownership structure is cited as a key differentiator in the regional feed market.
