About Pacific Jobbers Warehouse Inc
Pacific Jobbers Warehouse began in 1986 on Kahai Street in Honolulu’s Kalihi Kai district when Tetsuji Ideta, Melvin Sasaki, and a group of automotive industry veterans pooled their experience to launch a single-brand operation selling Bendix brakes. The company is employee-owned and has remained locally rooted since its founding. Today the business distributes original-equipment and name-brand auto parts across more than 90 product lines, including AC Delco, Motorcraft, Mopar, Denso, NGK, Aisin, Advics, Akebono, Bosch, Moog, Monroe, Wix, Timken, Centric, Gates, and Trico. Inventory spans ignition, filtration, belts, cooling, fuel, emission, electrical, HVAC, brakes, chassis, steering, exhaust, clutch, tire, wheel, drivetrain, engine, vision, and fluid categories. A staff of roughly 80 operates from a Honolulu facility and a Maui branch (added through a 2011 merger with Aloha Otto Parts), supported by 25 delivery vehicles and six counter specialists who collectively hold 200 years of parts knowledge. The company serves professional technicians and auto-service shops throughout Hawaii via commercial accounts and an online ordering platform. Its customer base includes independent repair facilities, dealership service departments, and fleet operators who rely on consistent daily delivery. Management emphasizes two differentiators: the depth of its counter expertise and a fleet that keeps parts moving island-wide. Leadership also notes that Pacific Jobbers Warehouse and its Maui Auto Parts division are the only home-grown, employee-owned auto-parts distributor in the state, a position that grants them privileged access to top OEM brands.
