Pacific Powder Coating (PPC) was founded in 1987 in Sacramento, California, beginning as a 6,000-square-foot powder coating shop with four employees. Today PPC operates a 50,000-square-foot facility staffed by about 80 technicians. The shop runs automated conveyor powder coating lines that handle parts up to 3 by 4 feet and 6 feet long, plus a batch system capable of coating pieces up to 5,000 pounds and 11 by 28 feet. In-house capabilities span powder coating, sandblasting, metal graining and polishing, precision masking, automated chemical pre-treatment, and in-line inspection. The fabrication side includes brake press forming, tube bending, welding, shearing, punching, sub-assembly, and custom packaging, allowing the company to process thousands of parts per day for high-volume OEM runs as well as one-off jobs. Customers range from original equipment manufacturers and large commercial enterprises to small job shops. The company serves architectural, commercial, and residential markets, with project examples including powder-coated door hinges, structural steel frames, safety-yellow U-channels, bar-stool foot rests, ornamental iron gates, and work benches. PPC also acts as a certified AAMA 2605/2604/2603 applicator for PPG, Tiger Drylac, and IFS fluoropolymer coatings on architectural projects.
