About Packaging Express Inc
Packaging Express Inc is a custom corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Founded in 1998 by Jim Davis, a veteran of the box industry with over 30 years at Deline Box Company, the business is family-owned; today Jim's son Matt Davis owns and operates the company, continuing a four-generation legacy that began with his great-grandfather T.J. McLaughlin, who co-founded Waterloo Corrugated Box Company in Iowa in 1938. The company designs, manufactures, and delivers custom corrugated boxes, displays, and retail packaging from a 94,000-square-foot facility. Equipment includes a Gopfert box maker (added in 2004) and an Emba 175 box maker (acquired in 2022). Printing capabilities cover flexo, digital, and litho label processes, allowing full-color branding on boxes. The operation emphasizes speed, operating under the motto "When yesterday is not soon enough." Packaging Express serves businesses throughout Colorado and surrounding states, from local startups launching new products to established enterprises needing retail-ready packaging. Testimonials highlight support for custom projects across varying quantities, with customers noting the team's guidance on packaging that drives sales. The firm positions itself as one of the last independent custom corrugated box manufacturers in Colorado, differentiating through in-house design, manufacturing, and delivery backed by multi-generational corrugated expertise.
