About PDI Waukesha - Federated Auto Parts
Parts Distributing Inc. (PDI) has been a family-owned auto parts distributor in Waukesha, Wisconsin, since 1994. The company began as a 25,000-square-foot warehouse and corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, initially operating as a WD warehouse serving independent jobbers. In 1995, PDI became an official Federated Auto Parts member. Today PDI operates four wholesale locations across southeastern Wisconsin totaling nearly 50,000 square feet, including sites in Milwaukee South, Milwaukee North, Waukesha, and Sheboygan. The company supplies brand-name replacement parts to professional independent automotive and fleet repair facilities, supported by online ordering integrations with Federated Link, Mitchell/Shop Key, NexPart, PartsTech, and RO Writer. PDI serves repair shops throughout Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, and Waukesha counties. Its customer base consists of small independent repair businesses that rely on prompt deliveries and knowledgeable staff to minimize downtime. The company emphasizes honest communication about product lines and service, employee empowerment, and respect for customers' time—values shaped by its own experience as a small business. PDI traces its expansion to the 1996 acquisition of Ridge Motor Parts and Engines Stores 6161, the 2008 opening of PDI-North, and the 2013 launch of PDI-Sheboygan.
