PGT Energy Solutions

About PGT Energy Solutions

PGT Energy Solutions operates from Phoenix, Arizona, serving homeowners and businesses across the state with solar and battery storage installations. The company does not publish a founding year, though it advertises more than 25 years of industry experience. The firm installs residential and commercial photovoltaic systems and integrates battery storage, including Tesla Powerwall units, to enable grid-charged load shifting. Its core service is designing systems that charge during off-peak utility hours and discharge during peak periods, reducing demand charges from Arizona utilities such as APS and SRP. The company also provides zero-down financing options and warranty support for installed systems. Primary customers are Arizona homeowners seeking lower electricity bills and backup power, as well as commercial clients aiming to cut demand charges. The company works directly with rate structures from Arizona Public Service (APS) and Salt River Project (SRP), tailoring battery configurations to each utility’s time-of-use and demand-based plans. PGT Energy Solutions differentiates itself through NABCEP-certified installers, an Arizona-based team, BBB accreditation, and status as an Arizona Local Certified Energy Partner. It emphasizes the 30% federal investment tax credit and state rebates for standalone battery installations, positioning its offerings as a way to achieve energy independence without requiring rooftop solar.
