PowerStream Solar & Electric

About PowerStream Solar & Electric

PowerStream Solar & Electric is a family-owned solar and electrical contractor based in Gap, Pennsylvania. The company was formed in 2014 by Daniel Stoltzfus, who had worked for a local solar firm since 2008 with a vision to help customers make informed decisions about solar energy. Stoltzfus opened his own shop in 2014, and the business has grown steadily since. The firm provides turnkey solar services including consultation, design, permit acquisition, installation, and system activation for residential, commercial, agricultural, and non-profit clients. It also offers general electrical contracting with NABCEP-certified master electricians. To date, PowerStream has completed over 2,000 installations and cites 16 years of combined installation experience. The company serves homeowners, businesses, farms, and non-profit organizations across Pennsylvania. It specializes in helping non-profits access the 30% federal tax credit via direct pay from the IRS, and assists agricultural customers with USDA REAP grants that cover up to 50% of project costs. Commercial clients benefit from the firm's experience with local township ordinances and utility relationships. PowerStream emphasizes a no-pressure, no-hassle sales process and backs its work with a supplemental 30-year transferable warranty through Solar Insure. The company's stated mission is to serve its community, focusing on quality workmanship and long-term customer relationships rather than volume.
