About Pratt (Bell Packaging), Inc.
Pratt (Bell Packaging), Inc., operating as Pratt Industries, is headquartered in Wyoming, Michigan. Founded in 1985, the company is privately held and has grown into the fifth-largest corrugated packaging company in the United States and the world's largest privately held producer of 100% recycled containerboard. The company operates a vertically integrated supply chain that spans 19 recycling facilities, six paper mills, 21 corrugating plants, 25 converting plants, 17 retail display facilities, and 46 transportation facilities. Its hub-and-spoke network collects recyclable materials while delivering finished boxes, feeding recovered fiber into its mills to produce 100% recycled paper for corrugated sheets, packaging, and displays. A customer team of over 300 supports design, logistics, and supply-chain management. Pratt serves a range of industries with a noted focus on the Southeast agriculture market, providing custom corrugated boxes, palletized truckloads, and retail displays. Its logistics division manages dedicated fleets, brokerage, and shipping agency services for local, regional, and national distribution. The company's differentiation rests on its "green mission" — using recycling as a tool against climate change — and its independence as a privately held business that prioritizes people, customers, and the planet. In 2022, executive chairman Anthony Pratt pledged a $5 billion investment in U.S. recycling and clean energy infrastructure, aiming to create 5,000 manufacturing jobs by 2032.
