About Prestar Packaging
Prestar Packaging operates from Christiansburg, Virginia, where Craig Chrisman and his wife founded the company three decades ago, naming it after their children Taylor, Preston, and Parker. The business remains family-owned and emphasizes domestic production, with all packaging manufactured on-site in the United States. The company specializes in rigid set-up boxes for retail packaging, offering design, printing, foil stamping, and a range of paper and finish options. Its broad-range facility handles both small-quantity and large-run projects without order minimums or maximums. A dedicated division, Creative Carding, holds patents for gift card packaging solutions. Prestar serves over 500 clients across diverse industries, including cosmetics and perfume brands such as Estée Lauder, confectionery makers, spas, and the gift-card market. The team collaborates on artwork and structural design to match each product’s branding and functional requirements. The company highlights its family-owned structure, U.S.-based manufacturing, and award-winning track record—including the Virginia Manufacturing Cup for its Creative Carding line—as key differentiators. It also stresses responsive communication, transparent quoting, and a willingness to tackle complex design challenges.
