About Pure Electric Inc
Pure Electric Inc operates from the West Rogers Park neighborhood on Chicago's North Side. The business was started by Geovanny Alvarado after he parted ways with a long‑standing electrical distributor where he had built a following among local electricians and contractors. Alvarado, who began his career with a union electrical contractor in the South Loop and later worked in electrical distribution, opened Pure Electric as a family‑owned and operated supply house on North Western Avenue. The company functions as a wholesale and retail electrical distributor, stocking a broad range of electrical products and components—from replacement fuses to complete service entrance equipment. Its three‑person team, including president Alvarado and sales specialists Tom Murphy and Gabe Espinosa, provides product selection support and technical assistance for projects of varying scope. The firm also emphasizes energy‑efficiency products and current technology to help customers meet modern specifications. Pure Electric serves the Chicagoland area, stretching from the Wisconsin border to the southern suburbs. The company's roots in the Rogers Park community mean it often supplies neighborhood residential and light‑commercial jobs as well as larger contract work.
