About Seattle-Tacoma Box Co
The business traces its roots through six generations of the founding family, who have maintained ownership and operational control since the late 19th century. In 1991 the family expanded its footprint by launching SeaCa Packaging to serve Central California with graphic packaging, and in 2014 added SeaCa Plastic Packaging for sustainable polypropylene corrugated products. A sister operation, Commencement Bay Corrugated, was established in the early 1980s as an independent corrugated plant jointly owned by the presidents of Seattle-Tacoma Box Company and Pacific Container Company. The company manufactures a full range of corrugated, plastic, and wooden packaging at dedicated wood and corrugated plants. The firm emphasizes its multi-generational expertise and a sustainability platform built on certified forest content, certified sourcing, and recycled materials.
