About Specialty Wire & Cord Sets
Today, the Campo family continues to own and manage the operation, which runs on 100% solar power. The shop produces custom coiled cords, retractable wires, and curly cables for power and communication applications. Its manufacturing lines handle thermoset rubber (SVO, SJOOW, SOOW), PVC (SJT, SJTOW, SVT), TPE (SVEO, SJEOW, SEOW), and TPU jacketing, with options for shielded and non-shielded configurations in both standard and miniature sizes. The facility stocks a range of standard cords for same-day shipment, while custom orders can be as short as one inch or extend up to 20 feet with a maximum 100-foot extension. Customers span transportation, medical and dental equipment, aircraft ground support, robotics, hand-held remote controls, retail displays, overhead doors, gaming equipment, machine tools, and security devices. The company serves wholesale buyers and OEMs that need low-volume or prototype runs as well as larger production quantities. The founders' original insight—that small orders deserve the same attention as large ones—remains the guiding principle. Management emphasizes personalized service, with quotes returned within one business day and direct access to senior staff. The solar-powered facility underscores a commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
