About State Fabricators Inc

Founded in 1946, State Fabricators Inc. (StateFab) has remained in Farmington Hills, Michigan, growing from a 1,900-square-foot startup to a 26,000-square-foot production welding shop on a seven-acre campus with overhead crane capacity. The company focuses on custom steel fabrication for automotive conveyor systems, building carriers, skillets, line platforms, robot gantries, and custom assemblies. Its 50-plus fixture builders, certified welders, and operators run jobs from one-off prototypes to thousand-unit runs. Every subassembly passes through a final checking fixture so that a five-pound bracket and a five-thousand-pound carrier leave the floor with the same repeatability. The facility includes 26,000 square feet under crane and seven acres for staging large fabrications such as line platforms and robot gantries. StateFab is a long-time Tier One and Tier Two supplier to the automotive industry, providing overhead, inverted, skillet, ELPO, paint, door, and cab carrier systems to plants across North America. A quality manual has guided operations since 1997, and the shop’s flexible layout allows large production jobs and small prototype work to run simultaneously.
