About Tele-Fonika Cable Americas Crp
Tele-Fonika Cable Americas Corp. is headquartered in Lockport, Illinois. The company began operations in the American markets in 1987 as the distribution arm of the Poland-based TFKable Group. No founders are named; it operates as a subsidiary of the group. The company supplies a broad portfolio of cables and accessories across North and South America, including high and extra-high voltage cables, medium voltage cables with EPR and XLPE insulation, industrial cables, mining cables, welding cables, flexible cords, submersible pump cables, and stage lighting cables. The Americas Corp notes it operates several production lines equipped for continuous vulcanization, twisting, and braiding, enabling precise cable manufacturing with full quality control at each stage. Specific facility size, headcount, and annual volumes are not disclosed. Its customers span the energy sector—power grid operators and offshore wind farm developers such as the Baltic Sea projects Bałtyk 2, Bałtyk 3, Baltica 2, and Baltic Power—as well as mining, industrial, welding, submersible pump, and stage lighting applications. Sales are conducted through a network of authorized distributors, international sales agents, and national sales representatives. The TFKable Group emphasizes quality assurance through its accredited Quality Control Department Laboratory in Bydgoszcz (Polish Centre for Accreditation per PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018) and advanced testing at the Extra-High Speed Laboratory in Krakow, where Monospiral Wheel, Festoon, and Drag Chain apparatuses verify cable flexibility, durability, and reliability under dynamic loads. The group also offers the TFPowerPack Mobile mobile energy storage system for emergency and maintenance power needs.
