About Vintage Reclaimed Lumber Company
Vintage Reclaimed Lumber Company was founded in 1999 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The business began with a single storage building filled with wood salvaged from an old barn and has grown into a regional supplier of reclaimed lumber. The company sources and sells a variety of reclaimed wood products including boxcar flooring from railcars, freightliner trailer flooring, live-edge slabs, beams, timbers, and barn wood planks. It also mills flooring and wall/ceiling products from laminated oak and other hardwoods, offers rough-sawn lumber, and provides finish products such as stains, waxes, and sealers. Inventory spans species like walnut, black oak, cottonwood, red oak, white oak, hemlock, and sycamore. The firm operates a warehouse where customers can select materials in person. Customers include DIY enthusiasts, builders, tradesmen, architects, interior designers, decorators, and wholesalers across the United States. Affiliated companies—Grain & Grange Furniture Mfg and Old World Iron—extend the offering to custom furniture and decorative ironwork for builders and designers. The company emphasizes its role in diverting historic lumber from landfills, noting it has sourced reclaimed wood since before the green movement gained popularity. It works with a network of pickers to recover ancillary items such as gears, pulleys, and tools from abandoned structures, incorporating them into furniture and architectural elements.
