The shop runs a complete steel service center, stocking sheet, plate, tube, pipe, flat bar, and angle in mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. In-house capabilities include a full machine shop with milling, turning, and drilling equipment, a custom fabrication facility for design, layout, repair, and build-to-print work, a 15-by-25-foot sandblasting booth, and what the company describes as the largest powder coating booth and oven in the state, capable of coating entire vehicle frames. A CNC plasma table adds precision cutting for signs, fire pits, and repair parts. The company serves clients requiring anything from single-part repairs to full design-and-build projects, with examples including fire rings, fire pits, signage, and chassis components. The Morrissettes acquired the business to preserve its local roots while broadening its service mix, aiming to become a one-stop shop for steel supply, machining, fabrication, blasting, and coating in western Maine.
