About Wicked Grain Custom Furniture
Wicked Grain Custom Furniture operates from Overland Park, Kansas. It specializes in slab and reclaimed wood furniture with a rustic, natural aesthetic. The shop produces custom furniture from scratch, including live-edge tables, slab furniture, barn doors, vanities, and accessories. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, crafted from organic-shaped slabs featuring distinctive grains, knots, and character marks. The company does not carry pre-made inventory; every item is built to order using wood sourced from local Midwest farmers and mills. Finishing includes food-safe oils for items such as cutting boards. The customer base appears to be primarily residential, as reflected in testimonials from homeowners who commissioned custom dining tables, vanities, and barn doors. The company also serves clients seeking rustic industrial or farmhouse-style pieces, such as the "Farmhouse Leaf Table" and "The Santa Fe" industrial live-edge slab table. Wicked Grain emphasizes that all products are 100% made in the United States and that it supports local farmers and mill workers. The company says its differentiation lies in using wood with a story—organic slabs with natural character—and in standing behind its work with a commitment to heirloom quality.
