About Wisconsin Wire Works, Inc.
Wisconsin Wire Works, Inc. was founded in 1994 in Wales, Wisconsin, by five copper-industry veterans who set out to produce copper and copper alloy welding wire. The firm operates as an integrated manufacturer of welding consumables, drawing wire from base stocks sourced from established suppliers. Its facilities house state-of-the-art drawing equipment and an in-house welding laboratory staffed by welding engineers, metallurgists, and fabrication specialists. Products include aluminum bronze, silicon bronze, deoxidized copper, phosphor bronze, copper alloy brazing wires, and nickel aluminum bronze, supplied in precision layer-level wound spools, straightened-and-cut lengths, reels, coils, and barrel packs. All wire undergoes thorough inspection for size, cleanliness, cast, and helix before shipment. The company serves welders, fabricators, and manufacturers across industries that rely on automatic and robotic welding, with customers on every continent. Wisconsin Wire Works emphasizes customer-driven quality: drawing dies are reworked on a fixed schedule rather than only when worn, non-contaminating lubricants are used exclusively, and products are cleaned and packed in hermetic moisture-barrier cartons. The quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2000, and the company highlights its made-in-the-USA origin as a core differentiator.
