About Accent Woodworking Inc.
Accent Woodworking Inc. was founded in 1998 by Rick and Janet Carnevali in Largo, Florida. Rick Carnevali began his career in high school at a cabinet shop in Raritan, New Jersey, and brought that lifelong passion for hand‑crafted wood furniture to the Tampa Bay area. The company remains a family‑owned and operated business. The shop produces custom wood furniture and cabinetry entirely in‑house, using solid domestic hardwoods such as oak, maple, walnut, and ash, along with plywood veneers—no particleboard or pressboard. Products range from kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and laundry room cabinets to Murphy wall beds, home office furniture, entertainment centers, built‑ins, closet systems, and guitar cabinets. The team works in traditional, Mission/Shaker, modern, contemporary, and shiplap styles, offering more than ten standard finishes plus custom color matching. All pieces are delivered fully assembled to customers in Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk counties; the company does not ship. Accent serves residential homeowners, interior designers, builders, and commercial clients including medical offices, churches, boutiques, and retail stores throughout its five‑county service area. Projects are built‑to‑order, with free in‑home consultations for local residents and Zoom consultations available on request. The founders’ stated mission is to combine quality craftsmanship with affordability while providing excellent service. The company emphasizes a collaborative design process, personal attention from sketch to installation, and a satisfaction guarantee on every piece.
