BUILT

About BUILT

BUILT is a custom millwork and cabinetry firm based in Tampa, Florida. Founded in 2013 by Andrew Watson, the company began as a one-man operation with a few tools and a credit card, driven by a passion for making. Over more than a decade, it has grown into a dedicated in-house team serving refined residential projects throughout the state. The shop produces architectural millwork — wall paneling, libraries, built-ins, ceiling details, and integrated trim — along with custom cabinetry for kitchens, dressing rooms, vanities, bars, and wine rooms. It also builds bespoke furniture and executes commercial and hospitality interiors such as restaurant bars and reception desks. Every project is engineered, fabricated, finished, and installed by the company's own crew, using 3D modeling to resolve conflicts before cutting and advanced fabrication capability paired with hand-finished craftsmanship. BUILT works primarily with interior designers, architects, general contractors, and developers on complex, high-budget residences, as well as directly with discerning homeowners. Watson started BUILT to bridge the gap between small studio craftsmanship and factory-scale reliability, delivering the precision expected in premium homes with the project management discipline required by professional design teams. The firm emphasizes structured scheduling, in-house control of all phases, and detailing engineered for Gulf Coast humidity.
