About American West Surplus In Exeter, NH
Brinkerhoff, who holds a B.S. in Business Management, grew the operation from a solo venture into a multi-location supplier with warehouses in Denver and a facility in Exeter, New Hampshire, plus a location in Somersworth, New Hampshire. The firm supplies new, surplus, and refurbished commercial and industrial electrical power distribution equipment, including circuit breakers, bus plugs, transformers, motor controls, switchgear, starters, contactors, PLCs, and automation replacement parts. Refurbished units undergo extensive cleaning, primary and secondary injection testing, transformer turns-ratio testing, and insulation testing before shipment. The company maintains a large brick-and-mortar inventory across its warehouses and ships worldwide. Customers span commercial and industrial sectors, such as electrical contractors, manufacturing plants, and facilities requiring power distribution components. The company also purchases surplus equipment, offering to buy circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and related items from sellers nationwide. American West Surplus differentiates itself with a same-day shipping goal for in-stock orders, a one-year warranty on all new and refurbished products, in-house testing performed by certified technicians, and a personalized sales approach that assigns a dedicated representative to each account.
