About Electric Barn Inc.
The Electric Barn, Inc. was founded in 1990 in North Hampton, New Hampshire, by a former electrical contractor and master electrician who continues to operate the business. The founder identified a need for competitively priced, safe, and reliable obsolete electrical equipment to gain a competitive edge, and established the company around that model. The company buys, sells, and trades new, used, and reconditioned electrical equipment, operating a dedicated reconditioning and testing facility alongside a 60,000-square-foot warehouse stocked with inventory. Its reconditioning process includes cleaning, inspection, insulation resistance testing, primary injection testing, contact resistance testing, and make-and-break testing for circuit breakers, with test reports provided. The Electric Barn also offers demolition assistance, salvage, and recycling services for electrical equipment. The Electric Barn emphasizes quick turnaround, shipping most orders within one to two business days, and backs reconditioned equipment with a one-year warranty. The company states its commitment to highest quality, competitive pricing, accuracy, and customer service as the foundation of its operation.
