Lumber is hand-selected from Middle Tennessee mills (maple, oak, walnut, cherry, alder, poplar) and cedar from Grant Cedar Mill, then milled on a jointer and planer in the shop. Finishes include hand-wiped polyurethane and Tung oil for outdoor durability. The clientele is primarily residential homeowners across Middle Tennessee seeking one-of-a-kind pieces or restoration of family heirlooms. Bayne also builds outdoor furniture designed for the region’s climate, using locally sourced cedar sealed with Tung oil.
