About Bayou Apparel LLC
Bayou Apparel LLC was founded in February 2004 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by Dan McNamara after he spent more than a decade in the college apparel market. The business remains family‑owned, with Dan and his wife Deprina “Red” McNamara serving as co‑owners and their son Daniel handling corporate and promotional sales. The company operates an in‑house production facility where it provides screen printing, custom embroidery, and graphic design services, and it maintains a showroom stocked with thousands of promotional items such as pens, mugs, koozies, and USB drives. All decoration work is done on site, allowing the team to control quality and turnaround for custom apparel and branded merchandise. Bayou Apparel serves a mix of corporate clients, local businesses, and university partners. As an official LSU licensee, it produces licensed fan apparel for events ranging from the Heisman Trophy ceremony to College Football National Championships, while its Bayou Promotions division, launched in 2020, focuses on corporate uniforms, tradeshow giveaways, and promotional products for companies of all sizes. The founders say the business was built on the ability to bring a client’s idea to life through integrated design and decoration capabilities, backed by experience with high‑profile sporting events and a commitment to personal service from a family‑run team.
