About Brilliant Solar
Brilliant Solar, operating as Brilliant Installations, is based in Toms River, New Jersey. The company was founded in 2017 by Michael Piompino, who had worked in the solar industry since 2010. Piompino serves as founder and chief executive officer, a team that has expanded across multiple markets while retaining a small-business approach. The firm provides turnkey solar energy systems for homes and businesses, handling rooftop and ground-mount installations, roofing work, battery backup integration, and tree removal to optimize solar access. Services are delivered by NABCEP-certified installers and electricians, in-house roofing crews, and dedicated project managers. The company reports that 90 percent of its systems become operational within 90 days and that 85 percent meet first-year production guarantees. Brilliant Solar serves residential and commercial customers primarily in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Projects range from single-family home arrays to combined solar, roofing, and whole-house generator installations. The company coordinates financing through third-party lenders and backs its work with production guarantees and “bumper-to-bumper” warranties. The company emphasizes end-to-end management, from site assessment and engineering through permitting, installation, and ongoing monitoring, aiming to deliver predictable energy costs and carbon reduction without subcontracting core trades.
