About C H Babb Co Inc
BABBCO, founded in 1918 by Charles Babb, is headquartered in Raynham, Massachusetts, near Boston. The company remains family-owned, now guided by fourth-generation leader William Foran, Charles Babb's great-grandson. It began serving growing bakeries in the northeastern United States with a philosophy of asking customers what they want rather than telling them. The company designs, builds, and delivers custom-crafted tunnel ovens and conveyors from a 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. It offers eight major types of industrial tunnel ovens—including direct-fired, indirect-fired, air impingement, infrared, radiant-tube, thermal-oil, electric, dual-fuel, and hybrid configurations—all built on a modular platform that simplifies configuration, installation, and future modification. An on-site Innovation Center allows customers to test products on BABBCO ovens before purchase. The product range also includes final proofers and complete turnkey baking systems. BABBCO serves commercial bakeries of all sizes, from small wholesale operations to the largest globally recognized food brands. Its customer base spans the food processing industry, with installations worldwide. The company's founding principle—listening to customer needs—drives its reputation for providing oven solutions rather than just products. BABBCO emphasizes the combination of global technical resources with the flexibility and craftsmanship of a family business, investing continuously in new baking methods and technologies to improve quality, capacity, uptime, and environmental impact.
