About Custom Furniture Chicago | Vas Design
Vas Design Inc. opened its doors in 1993 at 3356 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Gaberov remains the head creative designer, steering a business built on the ideal of quality. The shop produces custom, free-standing luxury home furniture — bookcases, dining tables, and other one-of-a-kind pieces — through a blend of innovative design and old-world Eastern European woodworking traditions. A team of highly skilled artisans executes each project, from initial design collaboration through final assembly and delivery. The company’s portfolio includes custom bookcases, dining tables, and other free-standing pieces tailored to individual specifications. No commercial or contract-manufacturing work is mentioned in the available materials. The firm distinguishes itself by combining Gaberov’s master-carving expertise with a collaborative design process that integrates client input at every stage. The company states its founding purpose was to deliver genuinely unique furniture that marries modern design sensibilities with centuries-old craft techniques.
